Potrait for Illustration Friday....

A potrait of ......
...........................................
I know it was time
for us to part....
but today?....
I know I had much pain
to go through...
but tonight?.....
(extracted from the book: How To Survive The Loss Of A Love)
............................................................
This illo was done some time ago (I'm back to my 'corporate' life today, you see...)
...hope you'll like this....
I like the poems from this book...hope I'll be able to share some of
my favourite ones through illustrations....
Note: See also my previous post...for one more potrait...of me!

Please link to a static page next week by clicking on the date of your entry. :)

A static page is linked to your blog's time and date. Go to your blog, click on the time and date of your post. You'll notice that the window changes to only show that one particular post. That is the url you should use to link to Illustration Friday. That way, in the future, when people go looking for your post, they will find it easily.

Visit the "About" section on Illustration Friday to find out more...

Thank you!

Hi Constance,

I like your Shanghai girls. Glad to see you're posting up more stuff here. I emailed Kay recently, and she's joined back MUI, but working in UK branch.

Thanks! :)

Brandi, I drew this, scanned, retraced and colored in ai, psd-ed the effects...those were the days...before the arrival of my Wacom!

Evelyn - Yes, I've been in touch with Kay...she's very happy in UK now...

Dear cousin, this week i found your post for IF via your 'preferred way'. It's great scrolling down to find my favourite shanghai lady piece! When I first saw the topic, I had this image in my mine too. I think this will be my all-time-favourite.
