Fat or not, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...
You will look beautiful if your heart is...so it really doesn't matter,
whether you're fat or thin, old or young, preety or not...

Please link to a static page next week by clicking on the date of your entry. :)

A static page is linked to your blog's time and date. Go to your blog, click on the time and date of your post. You'll notice that the window changes to only show that one particular post. That is the url you should use to link to Illustration Friday. That way, in the future, when people go looking for your post, they will find it easily.

Visit the "About" section on Illustration Friday to find out more...

Thank you!

Hi Konstan,

I notice you like to make your picture "glow-glow". Like the characters are covered in silver dust. What was your inspiration for this "Would you like to dance with me?" piece? ^_^

Cheers!

Thank you! :) txartcgal and majeak ann!

Evelyn, I drew this because many people equates thinesss with beauty, fat with ugliness...Most people are just being judged that way. But look closer, and you might find that underneath all that imperfections, there could be something very beautiful in them as well...so this fat girl's glow represents her inner beauty, the zooming stripes behind, her gestures represents surprise, and finally the hand represents the person (in this case: a man) who can see past the surface, to see that beauty in the fat girl...

CW,

i think that beauty is very subjective tho i for one love beauty...:)

yes we shouldnt be shallow or anything like that but we human beings cant help liking the beautiful things in life ...

but still that it is not an excuse to have messy hair or wearing unpressed clothing to work or no makeup when u go dating :)

there is no imperfections in life just ppl who make allowances for imperfections to be perfect which i think is really fine looking at the circumstances that is.

i always make a point to see people more than the physical appearances as god make us all beautiful....:)

as u know me, am the beautiful ppl myself...ooopss back to ur iilustrations..

i thk u are talented and that one day ull be famous and remember abt me...
