I just added this sketch in (pls note: this is not a proper illustration). Was lamenting to a friend of my predicament and this was 'drooled' in the process. I suddenly thought of an ex-colleague who likes to say: Piece of cake, sir! to the boss whenever he's given a project to do. I can't stand him, and I think my ex-boss' table can't stand the cakes either! Oh well, just to cheer myself up before I buy that blueberry cheesecake!

If I have more money, I'll order a cake...to go with this tea...
...............................
I'm on leave, for 4 days, hoping that I'll be able to come up with a satisfactory style for a project
that I've been putting on hold for 3 months...
Today, is my 3rd day...I have only 1 more day to do
what I'm supposed to do...before I start work again...before my official
duties consume me again...
yet, all that came out from my hand looks entirely different
from what's in my head...
It's really depressing...
...I guess I'll go buy myself and that Shanghai lady above a blueberry cheesecake
to go with our tea later on...
to cheer myself up...and her as well...

Sorry...It's a Beautiful word...

Well, I guess if your kid look this apologetic, you'd find it hard to scold him too!
--------------------
Once upon a time, two little boys were fighting over a toy that they both found in the street. An adult went over and tried to stop them. When the adult asked them to apologize to each other, this was what little boy no 1 answered:

"Why should I say sorry, because I don't FEEL sorry! He (pointing to little boy no. 2) should be the one saying sorry! Not ME!"

Little boy no. 2 said: "Sorry? I saw the toy FIRST!"

So, they continued, arguing and hurting each other verbally. This went on for many minutes until it was so heated up that the fight turned from verbal to physical. One boy punched the other's face, the other kicked the other's leg...their punches and kicks were sometimes misaimed at passersby...Those near them were so disturbed, so tormented, some even were hurt, that they can't continue with what they were doing peacefully...the two little boys really looked horrible, the atmosphere was tense, frightening...

This went on for many minutes more...but suddenly little boy no. 2 begin to think; he begin to look around him; he looked at himself and the other boy too; he seemed to have decided on something...

"Sorry" little boy no. 2 said

"Huh?" said the little boy no 1, with his fist that was about to give the biggest blow ever in history, hanging in mid air.

"I'm sorry, I was greedy. You can have the toy. It's all yours" said little boy no. 2

"Uh, err..okay. You sure?" asked little boy no. 1, his hand dropped down to his side

"Yes, very sure. Lets be friends again, sincerely"

"Ooookayyyy....." answered little boy no. 1, not quite surely

They both walked away, holding hands, with little boy no. 1 holding the toy in the other hand off course....and the people in the street went back to whatever they were doing, peacefully again....

I was there in the street when all these happened.

I learnt that day, that the word "Sorry" could also be such a beautifully combined words of Love, Humility,Foresight and Power....

The End.

another night...of devils or angels?

So sorry, I can't help but illustrate another version of 'angels and devils'...
this is still a mystery...
what is coming out from that glow?
Well, the stress from the office is slowy going off, but
like the saying "it aint' over till the fat lady sings"...
I hope there's no further obstruction to the deadlines...

My little angels are really angels!

This year is my 4th year teaching in Sunday school
(I'm not really a holy person!),
yet, every first day
of the school year, I still have the jitters,
really, you wouldn't know you'll get little angels
or little devils! But God knows my limit, and has given me
the best kids ever in my classes! Love them very much! Muah!

who are you?
went back early from office last night to sleep,
but this is what I end up doing...it's totally from my imagination...

Fat or not, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...
You will look beautiful if your heart is...so it really doesn't matter,
whether you're fat or thin, old or young, preety or not...
